The K8DT-AS enables use in overcurrent or undercurrent mode, while the K8DT-AW allows simultaneous overcurrent and undercurrent monitoring. The K8DT-AS/AW is a single-phase current relay. Omron K8DT-AS/AW single-phase current relays detect faults in motors and other equipment due to current changes. They monitor AC or DC currents with a relay and can be used with commercially available 17.5 mm wide current transformers to reduce the space required in panels. The Push-In-Plus terminal reduces cabling effort, and double inlet holes are provided for crossover cabling on all terminals.
