The F3S-TGR-CL light beam is a multi-beam sensor designed for access and entry protection, complying with the EN 61496-1 standard. The light beams are available as Category 2 (PL C) and Category 4 (PL E) with an integrated shutdown function. The F3S-TGR-CL features a painted aluminum housing, an acrylic-Lexan front window, an ABS cap, and mounting brackets made of cold-rolled steel.

It is easy to wire, mount, and configure. The DIP switch arrangement allows for settings for shutdown, pre-reset, lock function, and optical coding. The shutdown function and shutdown indicator are integrated.

Type 2 or Type 4 according to EN 61496-1 and EN ISO 13849-1 – ready. Wide-range active/active versions (F3S-TGR-CL2-K) have a detection range of 0.5 to 40 m. Short-range active/passive versions (F3S-TGR-CL2-K_C) have a detection range of 0.5 to 7, 8, or 12 m.
