The laser enables precise measurements at a distance of 50 to 500 mm. To take a measurement, the trigger button must be held down. The values are updated every second on our contactless handheld tachometer. It automatically shuts off after 60 seconds of inactivity to prevent unwanted battery drain from the 2 AAA batteries.
