D-Sub connectors Phoenix Contact SUBCON-PLUS PROFIBUS. 9-pin D-Sub connectors SUBCON-PLUS PROFIBUS for use in PROFIBUS systems up to 12 Mbit/s for quick connection of incoming and outgoing bus cables under field conditions. The D-Sub connectors SUBCON-PLUS PROFIBUS feature an integrated termination resistor that can be activated externally via a slide switch, overvoltage protection, a shielded ABS housing, and can be used with standard PROFIBUS cables with an outer diameter of 8 mm (Type A and B).

Models with a 35° angled cable entry and internal connection unit allow for cable insertion from the left or right as well as a screw connection. One model also includes a second D-Sub socket for connecting a programming device. Another model has a 90° angled cable entry and an IDC connection. Yet another model features an axial 180° cable entry and a screw connection. Quick stripping tools for PROFIBUS cables and cable stripping tools are also available.
