Newly equipped with NRC (Noise Reduction Circuit) and President Channels (5 pre-configured President channels with CTCSS/DCS). Switchable national frequency tables (EU, EC, d, PL, In) are integrated into the software. The country code, the set channel number, and modulation type - all important information can be easily read on the large illuminated display. Additionally, the LCD informs about the status of other device functions: the setting of transmission power (high or low) or the automatic noise control ASC (patent of Groupe President Electronics), dual channel monitoring (dual watch), Roger Beep, selective call procedure, VOX function, charging control display, and keypad lock. The RANDY III+ also offers a monitor function (for temporarily bypassing the noise filter), a direct switch to channel 9/19, as well as a scan function for creating a personalized scan list. A microphone socket allows for the connection of an external microphone. A switchable flashlight is also included.
