All EU frequency bands are switchable and stored in the software. The country code, the set channel number, and modulation type - all important information can be easily read on the large backlit display. Additionally, the LCD informs about the status of other device functions: the setting of transmission power (high or low) or the automatic noise control ASC (patented by Groupe President Electronics), dual-channel monitoring (dual watch), Roger beep, VOX function, charging status indicator, and keypad lock. The Jerry also offers a direct switch to channels 9/19 as well as a scan function. A microphone socket allows for the connection of an external microphone. A switchable flashlight is also included.
