What does self-adhesive mean? Can you only put them on once and then it's stuck on forever? I would like to take it off from time to time, as I am often in hotels and watch films with friends, and when they sit on the side they can't see anything because of the privacy screen. Or when I buy a new notebook, I can use the film again if it attaches statically or magnetically.

The film can be removed again, but in principle it is not intended for regular removal. If the film is to be removed, the protective film that protects the adhesive side of the film should be kept.
