Hi, I have the same model and the image should be perfectly crisp. If it looks blurry it’s usually because the display is running at a lower or not native resolution (even if this is correctly set in Windows). I had a similar experience when swapping from my previous monitor to this one. I fixed it by resetting the native resolution and refresh rate in the GPU control panel app (in my case it’s NVIDIA).

Yes, you can play games in 2K (2560 x 1440) on this monitor, as it supports both custom and lower resolutions than its native 4K resolution. Gaming monitors like this one usually allow you to adjust the resolution via the graphics settings or OSD menu for optimum gaming compatibility.

Hi, I had the Alienware in 1440p 27' Oled, and I switched to the XG27UCDMG. On the contrary, I find the image extremely sharp with a really nice PPI. I have a 9800x3d and a 4090. Dumb question: did you actually switch to native resolution, i.e. 3840x2160? I don't think the DP version has any impact on image quality, but I could be wrong.

The screen has a QD-OLED panel with a glossy (ultra-bright) finish, offering intense colours and a maximum brightness of around 1000 cd/m². It is not labelled as semi-gloss but rather as glossy, which is typical of high-end OLED screens for brilliant visuals and deep blacks.
