You are comparing 350 cd/m² vs.1400 cd/m². Huge difference in quality. The ASUS is the best HDR monitor on the market. Even OLEDs can't keep up with it. Whether this is worth the price is something you have to know for yourself.

Hi Panda, The monitor fan is hardly noticeable unless you concentrate on the noise. (but that's all subjective anyway). Of course, you also have to take into account the production scattering^^. Apart from that, if your PC is in another room and you leave the door open, you will probably hear the PC rather than the monitor fan. Since my PC is water-cooled, I only hear the quiet whirring of the PC's fan but nothing from the monitor. Otherwise, it's a great piece of equipment and I'm very satisfied with it.

The complaining is at a high level, but at this price you can do that. I returned the Asus and got the Aorus FI23U for a third of the money. Of course, the picture quality is not quite as good as the Asus, but it's not worth paying three times the price. I am now quite satisfied.

The brightness of the Asus ROG Swift is definitely higher than that of an OLED display. What OLED can always do better is contrast, because backlit LED screens can never do that so well. IPS panels in particular are pretty weak when it comes to contrast. The LG OLED can also do HDMI 2.1, the ROG Swift can only do HDMI 2.0. And the LG OLED screen is cheaper.
