As far as I know, the Google Assistant is integrated
However, the Bose Homespeaker is not rechargeable and therefore not mobile. I am generally not satisfied with the Homespeaker. There are always disconnections with the voice assistant. Alexa in my case. Bose blames it on amazon and they blame it on Bose. I wouldn't have thought that of Bose! However, take a look at the manufacturer Teufel. They also make quite good speakers.
I can do this by tapping on the cogwheel in the top right corner of the alexa music app. All the available devices come up. I assume that alexa is set up on the Bose and that the Bose Skills have been activated on Alexa. Do the alexa voice commands work on the Bose?
Yes, this works, but of course it always depends on how much signal still reaches the Fritzbox repeater, so for best reception I would set up all Fritzbox devices in mesh WLAN mode if possible.
No, unfortunately not. The Bose Home Speaker 500 unfortunately uses a different (more modern) app for control.
There is a Bose app that allows you to combine all Bose speakers and control them individually.
The following link provides instructions on how to do this: https://tipps.computerbild.de/mobil/smart-devices/kann-ich-alexa-mit-bose-verbinden-so-geht-es-906179.html
Unfortunately, I don't know the Bose Revolve Plus and therefore can't make a comparison. The Bose 500 sounds really great and I would definitely buy it again.
Unfortunately, we do not have any real empirical data on this. We have forwarded the question to our community and hope that a user can provide input.
The volume of the Bluetooth playback device is normally adjusted on the playback device itself, which is why you can no longer adjust the volume on the TV on some TV models. However, this depends on the model.
Here's the answer from our supplier: No, the Bose Home Speaker 500 uses the new Bose Music application for setup, control and music navigation, while Bose Soundtouch products use the Soundtouch application.
It is possible to assign playlists to buttons 1 - 6, but I don't know if this works with a Spotify Free account (I use a paid account)
Hello, there is no radio built into the speaker. Kind regards.
Hello fish scale I just tried it out and it works without any problems. (MacBook works via Bluetooth, Airplay and SpotifyConnect, for example). However, I still had to select the speakers as output speakers in the Bluetooth or sound output settings after connecting via Bluetooth (MacBook). Greetings -Y
Several speakers of the Smart Home family (e.g. Home Speaker 300/500, Portable, etc.) can be grouped easily via the app.
You don't need Alexa. I use Google, but that wouldn't be necessary either. I am very satisfied with the speaker.
I have never tried it - but I don't see why it shouldn't work.
That's certainly possible but probably very expensive. Have you thought about a soundbar?
As far as I know, there is no other option so far. According to customer feedback, it should work with the German account.
The Bose Surround Speakers are compatible with the following products: Bose Soundbar 700, Bose Soundbar 500 and SoundTouch 300 soundbar but unfortunately not with the Home Speaker.
