Dell WD19 USB Type-C

I'm note sure but I don't think so...with my husband we have both dell computers
I’m not sure about the XPS 15 but it works fine with my new XPS 13. Figuring out power on/off on the laptop is challenging.
Only Digitec can answer this question. However, I can confirm that I paid CHF 179.00 for this item in October.
Yes, the main part of the Dokingstation is the same. The module to which the cable is attached is different. It would be possible to make a wd19TB out of a Dell WD19 afterwards, but it is not really worth it as the module costs 160.- at Dell. The difference between the stations is the communication via usbC. Thunderbolt / Displayport protocol
I use the docking with a slightly older XPS 13 9360, and it works tiptop.
Ciao Andremarty13. As far as charging power goes, you should get plenty of juice. The dock also seems like a good choice for upgrading your Alienware m15. I would venture to say that pretty much all current Dell docking stations are compatible with newer Dell notebooks. The docking stations are designed by Dell for certain notebooks and have been tested on them by Dell. Therefore, the manufacturer can say with certainty: Compatible for xyz. If you don't want to take the risk, I would suggest that you buy a universal dock.
From the connections, yes. But you have to check how much power your model needs for charging. If it goes up to 180W then ok (how much power it needs in watts is written on the power adapter of your Alienware).
The WD19 has two USB A ports at the back and one at the front. USB-C only has one at the front.
