Hi JulianT346, Yes, it definitely works. We use the combi ourselves umpteen times in our company. Best regards
If the Surface Studio Laptop has a USB-C port, this should work.
Hello, according to the specifications, yes. It delivers 180 W.
Yes, mine came with a power supply unit.
The customer service department should be contacted for this: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/fr/requests/new
I don't know if it has 5Gbps. I work on a 1GB network and often have to copy large amounts of data. It works well with the USB C. Faster is always better, but the rest must also be correspondingly fast. And that is usually not the case. So everything is good.
DELL offers a mounting kit for this, DELL MK15. Digitec article 15790200.
Yes, that's right and you haven't done anything wrong. Another thing you could try is to set the resolution to 1080p on both monitors, but that doesn't make sense with a 4K monitor. ;) I also find it amazing that there doesn't seem to be a dock on the market that supports it. We've already tested the i-tec docks, but they can't do that either.
Ja, damit wirst du keine Probleme haben. Hier übrigens noch die Ansicht dazu von Dell: https://www.dellemc.com/resources/en-us/asset/data-sheets/products/electronics-accessories/dell_docking_compatibility_guide.pdf.external
Your notebook has a Thunderbolt 3 connection. This works perfectly including dual monitor operation. Depending on the level of resolution, you may need the model with real Thunderbolt (WD19TBS), see the data sheet on the last page: https://www.delltechnologies.com/asset/de-de/products/electronics-and-accessories/briefs-summaries/dell_commercial_docking_help_me_choose.pdf
