Hi. Just tried it with my MacBook Pro 13 inch 2017 with BIGSUR and my CinemaDisplay 30 inch 2560x1600 ... and it doesn't work for me either .... there is only 1280 X 800 resolution ... does anyone have a solution?

Is the display correctly recognised? Depending on the display, a standard display is then assumed. As a result, the resolution is not correct. I had no problems with my adapter. At most, I had to unplug the display again and plug it back in so that it was recognised.

Unfortunately, no: the DVI interface only has video, no audio signals.

does anyone know if the adapter can handle 120hz at 1920x1080?

120Hz at 1080P is possible with the adapter because it is a DVI-D (Dual Link). Greetings

Sorry, I'm out of my depth. Actually, I don't use the adapter anymore. I was hoping that I could have connected my new MacBook with a USB-C to HDMI and then with this adapter to an older Cinema Display. Unfortunately, that didn't work.
