Hi. The plus version is the more newer and upgraded version of the m11. It outputs 660mW in comparison to the 588mW on the LTD. The plus version is more powerful and still manages a more 40% playback time. So to answer your question, no, the plus version alone is a upgrade to the LTD version. Greets

Hi Dave. Just set the Fiio to USB mode and your cpu should detect it as a hard drive. Just drag and drop files after. That easy.

Hi Exactly, to be able to use a steaming service on the move, you connect the Fiio to the mobile phone or at best to a WLAN.

I use the Plex Amp app on the M11 Plus to download music or videos from my Plex server (on Synology NAS). It works without any problems. Unfortunately, I don't know the Subsonic app.

I am very happy with the M11 Plus. It's handy and Bluetooth 5.0 is more than enough. I drive a B&W PX McLaren and it sounds marvellous! Everything else works perfectly and smoothly. My 1 TB micro SD card with lots of music files is also recognised very quickly. I don't know if there will be an upgrade to 5.3 later. However, you should know that a cable connection of the headphones sounds much richer! You have my recommendation to buy!

The price is of course a matter of opinion. AptX, AptX-HD, LDAC and LHDC as well as AAC and SBC are available. It is not least this diversity that justifies the "HiRes Audio Wireless" label of the FiiO M11 plus.
