Should work, DECT standard. I have SL910 as base station and the C430A handsets work with it.

No, that is not possible - these are not WLAN telephones but DECT devices.
The base station also does not have a WLAN client integrated.
However, it is true that the phone can be connected to any telephone connection to these modems - more or less regardless of which provider is behind it. But the cable must be plugged in. The communication between the devices and with the base station is of course wireless, but not WLAN but DECT.

It is a "classic" analogue telephone, no ISDN, no IP. I use this set in conjunction with a UPC router, works perfectly.

I myself have successfully connected a Gigaset phone to the Internet of 2 different cable Internet providers. Whether it also works with UPC, I don't know. I can only assume.

So no VoIP in that sense. In my case, the telephone is connected to the FritzBox, i.e. not analogue with the Reichle plug in the wall socket with ADSL filter. But in my opinion this is not VoIP. You probably mean a telephone with an RJ-45 connection for direct connection to the Ethernet?

You can't answer that in general. It depends on the way the house is built. For me, it's just about enough from the second floor to the first floor. It also depends on where the station is located and whether there are magnetic fields in between. But over 3 floors it will be tight.
I have not tried out whether it works with other Gigaset models. But it is possible. Greetings, Georg Waser

No, this is not an IP telephone. However, it can be used on an analogue connection, e.g. a FritzBox or cablecom.
