I use the mouse under Ubuntu; there is the Piper tool for this, with which I can easily control (or deactivate) the light. The following operating modes are available: - Breathe (1 colour) - Cycle (rainbow, all colours) - Fixed - Switched off The brightness can be adjusted in each case.

Is a known problem with the current firmware (0030) of the mouse... the mouse has a default standby timer of 7min, which can be overwritten by the software and then it bugs around. Unfortunately there is no real solution. For me it helped to activate the global standby to 7min in the software (Core 2.1.4). But according to reddit, this doesn't solve the problem for everyone...

Hello JANEXANDER, I have had the Model D for a little over half a year now and have not noticed any problems so far. I also did some research before I bought it and I often read that people had a "cheap" mouse pad so that it seemed as if the mouse hooked. The problem was due to the material surface of the pad. The problem you describe can of course have many causes. It could be the hardware of the mouse itself, the cable or the USB interface of your computer. However, if you are sure that the mouse really is completely disconnected and that it is not an error on the computer side, then the only option is to return it.
