Apple music is not compatible with google nest! You can only connect the speaker with bluetooth and then play the music. greetings

I have both in use. The new Nest Mini sounds much better than the Google Home Mini. It is minimally thicker, and also has a "hole" on the back so that it can be hung up easily.
This is not possible, the volume control affects all audio outputs. Separate control is not provided, neither in the app nor on the device.

No, these are Google Speakers that work with Google Home and Google apps. They are not bad, but there is the better Google Nest Audio, which sounds even better.
