This depends specifically on the video outputs of the computer! A desktop PC sometimes has several outputs (e.g. HDMI and DisplayPort), in which case this is not a problem. For a laptop with an HDMI output, either a docking station or a USB-C adapter with HDMI/DisplayPort is required to connect two monitors.
To my knowledge, no... but I'm no expert. It's worth asking Digitec themselves, they're perfectly aware and capable.
There are several differences, compare the two articles, then you will see.
Hello, A docking station has USB outputs and, if anything, a USB-C "input", usually Thunderbolt for the connection between the notebook and the docking station. HDMI or DisplayPort on the docking stations are outputs to monitors, TVs, projectors, etc. The USB cable supplied is a normal USB 3.0 A to B cable for the integrated USB hub in the monitor, nothing more. You have to connect the screen via HDMI or DisplayPort. The E27Q has a Quad-HD resolution, i.e. 2560x1440, for your information.
If the adapter fits then definitely
This model should not have a USB-C port and also no video outputs (only inputs). Daisy-chaining should not be possible with it.
I adjusted the filters so that they would fit your desires. I wouldn't recommend any product yet, since the statement "thin" can vary greatly. https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/producttype/monitor-halterung-1986?filter=t_8289%3D178142%2Cn_11853%3D2%2Cnr_20160%3D0.6858000000000002%3A2.8448000000000007%2Cnr_2940%3D7000%3A250000%2Ct_841%3D402&ic=monitor+halterung
