The product worked very well in the beginning (HP Elite x360) and now after Windows updates it is no longer recognised!
Alternative: HP Elite USB-C-Dockingstation G3 (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB Typ-C, LAN/RJ45)
I use the docking station with a Spectre X360 13". It works well for display (display port), audio and charging but some difficulties with mouse and keyboard on the USB ports (waiting times, missing letters, ...). I have now connected mouse and keyboard directly to the Spectre and it works better ;)
Don't know, use HP Elite x2 1012 G1. I use the USB Type-C port, support for USB 3.1 (supports Thunderbolt 3). But as far as I know, you don't have it. I would check again. recommend to look on HP site. https://support.hp.com/ch-de/product/hp-pro-x2-612-g1/7109448/document/c04484082
Yes, also supports other HP notebooks such as HP Spectre x360 15-bl190nz. Connects to the notebook with a Thunderbold cable. (Connection for data and power) The power supply is connected to the TB3. I bought the doc 5 days ago and it works perfectly. (Connected 2 monitors, CD-Rom, stick).
The docking station is only compatible with the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2 (manufacturer's information). The information on Digitec suggests that it is also compatible with other X360 models. No further software or additional drivers are required. However, there is a firmware upgrade on the English site. -> https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elite-90w-thunderbolt-3-dock/15832458 However, I recommend that you clarify this directly with HP beforehand to see whether this is necessary or suitable for your product.
