I already answered that question three years ago. It already works. If you have connected the screen to the HDMI port, you also have to connect the screen to the MacBook with the USB A/C cable that comes with it. This works perfectly for me.

Yes, it has ... as well as a retractable webcam and pretty good Bang&Olufson speakers. The monitor is therefore always connected to the PC via 2 cables: HDMI/DP/VGA for the display and/or USB for webcam/micro/speakers.

No it does not have a remote control, although I highly advise not to buy this monitor, because of it's mediocre 1920 x 1080 Pixel resolution, this resolution is way too low on a 27 inch screen and would not look good even on a 24 inch screen. If you want to buy a monitor with a remote, there is the excellent 32 inch Samsung M7 with a lot of smart and cool features, it is also a TV and can play back Netflix and stuff. Samsung Smart Monitor M7 S32BM700UU (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 32 ") It has a 4K 3840 x 2160 Pixel resolution and great speakers. If you want to have a 27 inch screen with a webcam, look for those with 3840 x 2160 or 2560 x 1440 pixels. These modes are much easier for the eyes and you can also read smaller text with these monitors, this one is a good one: Dell S2722DZ (2560 x 1440 Pixels, 27 ")

Is installed correctly when using the USB connection on the monitor at the back/bottom. However, the camera is only recognised when it is activated (= extended).

I have attached this to my Mac mini M1 using the USB-c thunderbold connection. From the monitor I have attached a backup device and I also use the Monitor to connect to my digital camera. The camera connection is used to charge the camera and also to transfer images. I transfer a large volume of images, each is 86M in size. When not connecting the camera I use the monitor connection to connect to my headphone set for Skype meetings. I have not experienced any charging or data transfer issues however I frequently get a warning that the USB-C cable is not the recommended cable and that I should use the manufacturer's cable but I ignore this error as everything appears to be working just fine for me. I am using an Apple USB-c to USB-c thunderbolt cable. I have several USB-C ables and I have noticed that some are rather thin and flimsy when compared to the Apple cable which has a substantially thicker cable diameter. They say size does not matter but may be in the case of USB-C cables, size may matter ;-) I hope the above helps.

Energy classes for monitors and other appliances were changed in 2020, the classes A+++, A++ and A+ were removed. The rating system for energy efficiency now uses A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Nothing to worry, it still is a very energy efficient model. Although I do strongly recommend to return the screen, also because of the mediocre 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Text is very fuzzy and does not appear sharp on a 24 inch screen with this resolutinon and it is definitively much worse with 27 inch in size. For 27 inch, the minimum resolution should be 2540 x 1440 pixels, although I would hilgly recommend to go with 3840 x 2160 pixlels 4K and then use the 125% scaling on Windows 10. Text will be crisp and sharp. The least expensive solution, and even in 31.5 inch at the time I replied to this question would be less than 360 CHF for 4K UHD (and with 32 inch you could even use 100% scaling) is this Benq: BenQ EW3270U (32", 3840 x 2160 Pixels)

The classification of energy efficiency classes has been adjusted for 2021, there are now no longer A+, A++ or A+++, only from A to G. Therefore, the appliance is no longer A but class F in 2021. This is not a tragedy, because F is still better than G. The energy label has also been changed accordingly and there are now also other classifications depending on the product categories. https://www.topten.ch/private...

Yes, that is not a problem, but 1920 x 1080 pixels for 27 inches is not recommended, because this resolution is anything but ideal for this screen size. Text will be displayed incredibly poorly, as the pixel size does not allow for sharp text at this screen size. I strongly recommend choosing the smaller 24 inch screen, texts are unfortunately not very sharp on it either, but still much better than on 27 inch with the same resolution. This Dell monitor is a little more expensive, but has 1920 x 1080 pixels at 24 inches. It also has a USB-C port and an integrated camera: Dell C2422HE (24", 1920 x 1080 Pixels) Alternatively, a 24-inch model with 2560 x 1440 pixels could be chosen. These models usually scale texts very well and have even more pixels for displaying texts. Or a model without a built-in camera and then use an external camera. But I wouldn't go for a 27-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels, it's really awful for reading text.

I have connected the monitor with DVI. For the camera, an additional connection must be made via the USB-C port next to it. Then move the camera out and Windows10 will automatically recognise the new hardware. Good luck!

I use Teams, Skype and Zoom and camera is top! I can't answer the question of connecting screens because I only have one screen. Screen as such is top! I am very satisfied.

The screen needs a 230-volt power connection for the power supply, so the USB-C connection is not enough! To use the full functionality, I connected the screen to the PC via the HDMI and USB-C connections. Only then can you use everything (camera, microphone, speakers and side USB ports).
