Yes, there are so-called set-up cartridges that do not have the full capacity of the normal cartridges.

Hello everyone! I have two questions about the device: 1. is it compatible with the 953 XL print cartridges? 2. the description says that it can scan, although scanning is not listed under specifications. Which is correct? Thank you very much for your help!!! :) Chris

What am I doing wrong? I can't make usable A3 prints with W10. Lines and type is very grainy and has wrong colours, with Word, Visio or PDF. A4 is perfectly clean. HP support still has no solution after 2 days of Whatsapp. With mopria app A3 is clean but I want to print directly from W10. The printer is new, does HP have a driver problem? Beat

Hello Beat I don't know if my answer really came across. I have no problems with the printer. This has been the case for almost 2 years. The quality of black and white as well as colour prints is ok. Even scanned and enlarged prints on A3 photo paper are almost as good as the original. So far I have not noticed any driver problems. Unfortunately I can't help you, but I hope that your problem can be solved. Greetings Peter

Does this device have a single feed in A3 format or can a stack of A3 papers be inserted in the drawer at the bottom? I often have to print out a set of CAD plans in one piece, so it quickly becomes tedious with a single feed! Thanks for your help!

What is the difference between the 7720 and the 7740? Apart from the price, I can't figure it out 😅

The 7740 has 2 paper trays and the 7720 has only one paper tray, but I can't say if there are any other differences.

The order was placed by us on 23.04.2020, after the lockdown. Nothing has been delivered to date, without any feedback or apology... This raises the question of quality and service.
