The A was still the valid designation until the end of 2020, but the energy efficiency labels were redefined for 2021 for better transparency, because it was totally confusing for the customers that there were even 4 designations with A. There were A++++ to D. From 2021 onwards there will only be one A and the label will go from A to G. The indication G is from 2021, so it is correct according to the new designation rules introduced from March 2021. I also don't understand why many appliances still have the 2020 label listed. It makes no sense to me and also confuses customers.

Hello Laurin Dumb question, but did you select the correct input on the monitor, i.e. USB-C? And if so, how does it look in the Mac settings under Displays (or Screens)? Is the monitor recognised there? Are you using the default resolution setting? Are you using the USB-C cable that came with the monitor? Have you tried replacing the USB-C cable? I think that not all USB-C cables have the performance that is necessary for TB3 transmission. I hope I could give you some ideas, it's still difficult if you don't know/see the whole setup.

Unfortunately, I can't answer the question about the Chromebook, but as long as you can connect the HDMI or display port and the graphics card halfway supports the resolution of the monitor, it shouldn't be a problem. With current laptops (Windows 7-10) this is no problem. With old ones, where the graphics card does not support the resolution, the display is not good. If the Chromebook has USB-C, you can charge it via the monitor. Cables are all included.

Hello Sluescher I have a 2018 MBP and bought this monitor 3 weeks ago. It works perfectly! Both displaying and charging works flawlessly. Only one cable from the monitor to the Mac and no docking station on the table is just great. I can only warmly recommend this setup.
