The remote control is called RC-946S. Whether it can be bought separately is beyond my knowledge (a quick search on Amazon or here at digitec does not yield any results). Alternatives are the Logitech Harmony or similar. By the way: I also own the amplifier for the home office, but I rarely use the remote control and operate the device 99% via the iPhone or iPad. I find it much easier to use when searching for an internet radio station or streaming music from Apple Music ...

Hello Fischerroman. I have no idea what "reasonable" is. I can only share my experience: I had an Onkyo TX-NR575E and Jamo Concert 11 (D870) speakers from 1998. Was really happy with it until the receiver went out. I replaced it with the Pioneer NC-50DAB and couldn't believe my ears. These speakers now sound in a class of their own! Much more bass, rich and crisp, more precise reproduction. Every instrument is now much easier to locate and the sound is absolutely natural. If you get something like this, you will have a lot of fun.

Hello! No, operation from the PC is not possible - at least officially. However, there is an app from Pioneer with which this is very well possible from iPhone/Android. I can only recommend the device.
