Polar OH1 optical heart rate sensor
Polar OH1 optical heart rate sensor
It depends on the end device whether it records continuously. The belt can of course
Hi, to connect it to a watch which supports bluetooth or ant+ it’s not an issue at all. The question is more about if you’re going to get a better measurement, which I really doubt. I bought it , but I still can’t cover HIIT training peaks with it, it’s still slower than the heart belt which I would recommend in this case. If your training is rather steady with slower changes in your heart rate, then yes, you can buy it!
Yes of course, Polar has its own app with which you can connect OH1 with Bluetooth and then display the heart rate in the app. OH1 is a great device...
Polar OH1 vs. Polar OH1+ The first model (this model) was the OH1, followed by the OH1+. There is only one difference between the two models: ANT+ was integrated into the OH1+ from the outset. Polar subsequently activated this in the OH1 as well with a firmware update. In this respect, both product designations are common: OH1 and OH1+
Unfortunately I can't say, I don't use this app.
Yes, the sensor works perfectly with the Ambit3. The pairing worked straight out of the box.
yes, you can set it quite narrow up to approx. diameter 8cm
I use OH1 with Adidas Runtastic with Android Phone/Huawei on the cross trainer and cycling. It works very well.
When it was delivered to me 10 months ago, I received the "OH1+" version, i.e. including this "floating clamp". However, I had ordered exactly this article "OH1".
The Polar OH1 can be connected to the entire Polar family via Bluetooth and paired with multiple devices. However, you cannot use it with multiple devices at the same time. Just like the h10
