To fully utilise the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed headset, especially for functions such as spatial audio and custom settings, the use of the Razer software is recommended. This software offers additional functions and settings that can improve the user experience. However, you can also use the headset without the Razer software if you only need the basic functions.

I bought it. Works perfectly on PC and Switch. I haven't tried PS5 as I don't have one. According to the specs, it should work with it too.

You can use both devices, the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed and the Razer Viper v3 Pro, via separate receivers. The BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed uses a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, while the Viper v3 Pro also has its own 2.4 GHz receiver. Both devices can be used simultaneously as long as you have enough USB ports for the receivers. You do not need to connect them wired unless you prefer a wired connection for the BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed.
