No, he didn't.
Unfortunately, we don't have any knowledge about Black Friday promotions. I would recommend adding the item to your watch list. Then you will be notified when there is a promotion.
This monitor will be available again between Tue 31.8 and Thu 2.9.
Warzone will probably run in performance mode and not in quality mode. 120hz, but uglier graphics. Either or, the PS5 can't technically display both.
Hello, the old G7 has WQHD resolution and is fine for PC. The G7A, on the other hand, is 4k with an HDMI 2.1, which is important for new-gen consoles. You can play 120Hz in 4K. The G7 Neo is the highest class. It has everything a monitor needs for the next few years.
Hat Freesync und ist G sync kompatibel https://images.samsung.com/is/content/samsung/assets/de/display/pdf/Datenblatt_Monitor_Odyssey_G7A_LS28AG700NUXEN.pdf
Hello Brandoro. The speakers do not work because the monitor has no speakers. The 3.5mm jack connector is for connecting headphones or speakers.
There is no remote control, I don't know of a better way, but you could try switching the source detection to automatic.
Yes, fits (both from the VESA size and the weight)
The HDMI and DP signals are not the same. A passive cable does not work in this case. An active converter is needed to convert the signal.

Hey Lars. That's what I asked myself at the time. I decided on the odyssey and don't regret it for a second. I also use it with the PS5. Both smooth and 4k, as long as the game supports it. But I can only judge this one and not the Gigabyte. I can only warmly recommend this one😊.
The monitor supports HDR400, so it can basically do 10 bit. Info on this: https://heimkinofan.de/hdr10-vs-hdr400/

yes, 2 HMDI 2.1 ports👍🏽
According to my research, native G-Sync monitors have a special chip installed that increases the variable refresh rate spectrum and is supposed to offer particularly low input lag. However, I don't think a big difference would be noticeable. Have a look here: https://www.displayninja.com/g-sync-compatible-vs-native-g-sync/
DP cable with 4K & 144hz is included, HDMI is not. Nothing lights up in the back of mine.
Just found, yes there is an HDMI 2.1 connection that works up to 120 Hz. https://news.samsung.com/de/samsung-erweitert-odyssey-gaming-monitor-reihe
