Yes, you can connect your laptop or other devices wirelessly to the monitor. It supports AirPlay for Apple devices, Wireless Display for Windows PCs over the same Wi-Fi network and functions such as Multi Control and SmartThings for Samsung devices. Note that both devices must be on the same network and the connection may not always work smoothly with some Windows setups.
You cannot connect two of these monitors directly to one large screen to work on both at the same time by using them as a single display. Instead, you can use them as separate monitors to run multiple applications simultaneously on different screens. To do this, connect both monitors to your computer and configure the display settings accordingly.
The "Smart M7 - M70D" monitor does not support direct screen mirroring via WLAN from an iPhone. For screen mirroring, you usually need a Smart TV function or a special app such as AirBeamTV that runs on a Smart TV. As this monitor does not have Smart TV functions, direct screen mirroring via Wi-Fi is not possible. However, you could try using an HDMI adapter or another physical connection to transmit the screen.
Video connection via USB-C is possible if a USB-C cable compatible with DisplayPort ALT is used. However, not all USB-C functionality may be supported by all cables or devices. Be sure to use an appropriate cable to ensure proper video connection.
The monitor can generally be used as a surveillance monitor for outdoor cameras as long as the camera outputs a suitable video signal that can be transmitted to the monitor via the available connections (e.g. HDMI). However, the monitor does not offer any specific functions for monitoring, such as motion detection or recording functions. You would therefore need to ensure that the camera or an external device provides these functions.
Samsung's 'Smart M7 - M70D' is a multifunctional device that combines the functionality of a monitor and a TV.
- TV function: You can use this screen to stream OTT content directly from the monitor or access live TV channels and on-demand content via Samsung TV Plus, at no extra cost. Therefore, you could also use apps such as Swisscom or Sunrise to watch TV channels, if these apps are available on the monitor's Tizen operating system.
- Monitor Function: The device allows you to connect your mobile phone and other devices via USB-C, HDMI and USB-A ports, allowing you to transfer data, charge devices and use the monitor as a workstation. In addition, you can control multiple devices with a single mouse and keyboard thanks to the MultiControl™ function.
So, yes, this screen can be used both as a TV to watch TV channels and as a monitor to connect your mobile phone and other devices.
Hello,
Unfortunately this is not information we have. However, we are sharing the question with other users of this product, maybe someone will be able to measure and answer.
We work with various suppliers so that we can offer a wide range of products. The price is determined by the purchasing conditions specified by the supplier and fluctuations may occur due to purchasing from a different supplier. We also work with daily prices. We always try to offer a price in line with the market, but this is not possible for all products.
It's a 32" screen with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 and an aspect ratio of 16:9, so not ultrawide by default, but in gaming mode the aspect ratio can be changed to 21:9, giving an ultrawide viewing area so to speak, and it supports wireless connectivity in Windows
Hello, if it helps others who are still undecided about buying: after comparing the rear connections, I think it should actually be the LS32BM701UUXEN model, i.e. "B" and not "C". Recognisable by two HDMI and one USB-C sockets as well as three with USB-A (one labelled "Service"). The stand is also only "tiltable".
