Hi, I have connected my macbook pro to the USB and video works, but a USB dongle connected to the USB A port is not recognised. Same with a Lenovo X1 under Windows. Does anyone know why?

Hello, I received my screen yesterday. When I unpacked and installed it, I realised that there was no screen film attached. There was only a removable film on the bottom bar. My question is: Is this the standard or have I received a returned product? Even the screen quality is very matt and not really nice. The USB-C connection is connected to a Zbook fury 15 g7. I bought two of these monitors as they seem to support daisy chaining. However, I have now tried almost everything, but simply cannot connect the monitors to each other. I want Laptop --- USB-C --- Monitor 1 --- ?? --- Monitor 2 I've tried everything between the two monitors (display port (1.2), USB C, HDMI) and nothing works. Now I always have to connect two USB-C cables to the laptop. Can anyone tell me how I can manage to connect the monitors to each other, which is the point of daisy chaining. I don't want to buy an expensive hub, that's what daisy chain technology should be for if it's already built in. Do I need to change anything in the settings?

The daisy chain connection with these monitors only works via USB-C, not via DisplayPort or HDMI. You have to connect the laptop to monitor 1 via USB-C and then connect monitor 1 to monitor 2 via DisplayPort Out (DP 1.2). HDMI does not work for daisy chain. In addition, MST (Multi-Stream Transport) must be activated in the settings of monitor 1 so that the signal is forwarded to the second monitor. I have just received the screen. Everything works perfectly. Only the tilt cannot be changed - the frame was delivered tilted. Do you have to apply a lot of force? It feels like the joint breaks off... Is there a special unlocking mechanism that I've missed so far? The other two movements (height, rotation) run smoothly (without unlocking), as you would expect. Is this a warranty case?

You don't have to unlock anything. The whole thing is a little tight, but that's the way it should be. Simply hold the monitor by the back of the stand and then adjust the tilt. I have just tried it again. Good luck :-)

How can I connect 2 of these screens together? Somehow I don't understand the DaisyChain, laptop is connected with Hdmi and USB-B and from monitor 1 to monitor 2 with a display port cable from output to input but the 2nd screen remains dark.

As far as I know, this does not work with Hdmi. You have to connect your laptop/PC with DP or USB-C to the screen. Then you have to set MST in the screen settings of the main screen via the port you are using.
