The unit says 4k 30Hz on both outputs. However, this promise is not kept. I have just connected my two monitors (1920x1200 pixels). What works at maximum at the same time is 1920x1080, which results in two vertically distorted screen views. Replacing the cables does not improve the situation either. This is a hint for other potential buyers. Too bad, so the part goes back again.

Hello I have a Lenovo Ideapad flex 5 14iil05. I want to use the docking station to operate 2 screens via HDMI (Full HD). My USB-C port has the following specifications: -Supports data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s for USB 3.1 Gen 1. -Output power of up to 20 V and 5 A. Will this work with my USB-C port or does it have to be a Thunderbolt? What would be an easy alternative to connect 2 monitors via HDMI. My Lenovo also has an HDMI 1.4b port.

I can't give a 100% answer. I think the image transfer would work, but not the charging function, because if I saw it correctly, this laptop is still equipped with a normal charging port. Maybe someone else could confirm the former.

Can the signal from the HDMI connections only be mirrored or also spitten?

The signal can be split, i.e. you can use it to operate 2 additional monitors in extended mode. However, this also depends on the laptop my lenovo laptop from work had no problems, but my private acer laptop does not support the expansion via usb c.
