Yes, it's no problem.
The manufacturer's specifications only state that this capacity was tested at the time the product was developed. Usually, however, larger ones are supported without further ado. According to the following blog, this card seems to work: "You can use cards up to at least 256GB. DJI's documentation says explicitly that the camera can take a maximum of a 256GB card. I've been using a 400GB SanDisk Extreme card in it and have had no problems." Source: https://havecamerawilltravel.com/gopro/dji-osmo-action-sd-card-recommendations/
yes but i think there is better performance if you take 128GB cards with faster writing speeds
The device must be able to address 400 GB. My old Sony Z2 with Android 5 could only address 128 GB. So I couldn't satisfy the need for storage with the 400 GB microSD alone.
normally android should recognise the card directly and no formatting should be necessary. in settings -> device maintenance -> memory you can see the status of the sd card and can also format it if necessary.
SanDisk Extreme cards have maximum read speeds of 90 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 40 MB/s. SanDisk Extreme Pro cards, on the other hand, have maximum read speeds of 95 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 90 MB/s.
I have a Lenovo L390, which is the cheaper version, and I have no problems with it. So it should be compatible.
I would not recommend this for the following reasons. 1. The manual shows examples of max 128GB...so it is not certain that it will be able to read a 400GB cards. It probably will but why risk it. 2. This card is a microsd so you will need to use the adapter at all times. This is more prone to make the card slower or damage it. So I would recommend a normal full size sd card. 3. I use this card with my go pro and I cannot fill it up...its massive. Given the filesizes of the P900 I would not recommend more than 64gb. My pick would be the adata 64GB ADATA Premier ONE (64GB, Class 10, UHS-II) ...this works great even with the GH5 which shoots at 400mbit...a winner and great price. Hope this helps Theo
I have the 400GB card in the good old 4 Black. It runs perfectly there. If you search for the Hero 7 on the Digitec website, there is also a microSD shown, a 32GB. I can't imagine that this would NOT work with a newer GoPro with the 400GB.
