The multislot readers are usually very old and have slow USB 2.0 or even 1.1 connections. Let's be honest. What else do you need? SDXC maybe, and I'm sure you already have that. By the way, you can also insert SDXC cards into the same slot in the Sony Reader for CF Express A cards. It doesn't need a second slot for that.

Yes it works with USB C and you can copy from one slot to another.

No. It is only for the old Compact Flash cards and not for CF Express and certainly not Type A. There is a reader from sony.

I'm not sure it's a "plug and play" device, the card in the reader should be detected directly once the reader is connected. :)
