Here is the response from our department responsible:
This product is universal and therefore works with all cars, like all radios.
The customer may need some adapter cables to connect with the original & Mask to complete it, but it will work.
As for the cables needed, the customer should check with a garage directly.
Installation is very simple, as everything is standardised, it fits 1:1 into every 2-Din slot.
Simply plug in the ISO connector or get a suitable adapter for the respective vehicle.
The only thing that needs to be done is to find a way for the microphone cable, but there are gaps and ways in every vehicle, so this should not be a problem.

Here is the answer from our department responsible: Basically, yes. The customer needs to know if he has enough room in the Golf for the 2DIN radio. Note the mass in the picture. To be able to tell definitively, he should contact Sony with the vehicle data. We don't know which electronic devices are installed in the Golf.
If a double DIN radio is already installed in your car, it should fit. You may need to use an adapter for the manufacturer-specific signals of the steering wheel remote control (e.g. https://www.ebay.com/itm...).
Depending on the car, there may be a slightly unsightly gap around the radio because the bezel does not fit exactly.
Hello, yes the device has a cinch video input (yellow) and is therefore compatible with a rear view camera, but I have not yet connected it and can therefore not provide more detailed information.

Yes, depending on the original radio installed. With double DIN, the unit fits. However, care must be taken to ensure that a suitable wiring harness is purchased. If there are remote control buttons for the radio on the steering wheel, you will also need an additional device.
Important: If elements of the on-board computer have to be displayed/adjusted on the original radio, they are no longer available on this unit!

In principle, it can be used in any car that has a double slot, you just have to get the adapter for the connections of the vehicle you are using.
As far as I know, it works with Samsung devices. The most important requirement is the "Carplay" feature. We have three of these devices, but we all use iPhones.
No. Only a normal car radio in it. However, you can now play all CH radio stations from your Carplay with the swissradioplayer.ch app.

We have installed this model in several OPEL and VW Golf. I think it will also fit in a Smart; the dimensions of the car radios are all about the same. Incidentally, this model is simply super - I would buy it again and again.
