Suunto Smart Sensor
Suunto Smart Sensor
No, unfortunately not. The Suunto Smart Sensor uses Bluetooth and not ANT/ANT+ like the Ambit2.
The item number shown is size M, which is suitable for a chest circumference of 70 - 110 cm.
After the sensor is connected to the iPhone, the 'SportsTracker' app can register the pulse. SportsTracker registers place time pulse speed, and displays it in 'Workouts'. The workouts can also be uploaded to a personal account on the internet and viewed in the browser. Sharing with friends etc. is a matter of course. The connection is fast and stable. In my opinion, the app in combination with this sensor is top-notch.
The heart rate measured by the Smart Sensor is visible on the watch during exercise.
Hi, having bought this sensor some time ago I just tested it with the huawei app and it works.
Unfortunately, I cannot give any information about this. But I don't recommend the belt because after half a year of regular use, it becomes distorted and the contact points for the measurement no longer lie completely on the skin. As a result, the pulse is no longer measured. I now only measure directly at the wrist with my watch. The pulse readings are always correct at the wrist because I have already compared it with another pulse watch.
I have the Suunto Spartan Ultra and it is compatible with this watch. The only difference between the two watches is that the Spartan Ultra has a pressure sensor for altitude measurement. Since the strap is connected via Bluetooth, you can also link it to your smartphone.
Hello ristic, According to this link http://www.suunto.com/de-CH/Produkte/Sportuhren/Suunto-Ambit3-Sport/Suunto-Ambit3-Sport-Blue/ this should be compatible, at least it is recommended/sold as an accessory. As far as I know, the whole "Ambit3 family" is compatible with it. It works wonderfully for me; I bought the Suunto Ambit3 Peak Saphire (scratch-resistant). Have fun furthermore. Greetings
