You can see the alarm time on the display. There are two programmable alarms that you can set only for weekdays, for example. You can also set the station and volume. Turning the alarm off completely for holidays, for example, is rather tedious and can only be done in the menu. There is an alarm button that takes you directly to this menu. Snooze is possible by pressing the big button on the right. But I have never used it.

Since it has Bluetooth, you can connect the MacBook via Bluetooth and play the music that way. I also do this with my iPhone. Or with the AppleTV.

It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth to headphones does not work, at least there is nothing about it in the operating instructions. The device is multi-room compatible, if that helps.

It depends on what they mean by external speaker. It has a 3.5 jack, you can attach speakers there. Hifi speakers that need an amplifier and the cables are attached with screw terminals cannot be connected.

Personally, I wake up like this: Alarm1 weekdays = DAB+ station X with volume Y and 10min later Alarm2 with volume Y and buzzing sound. Whether DAB+/FM/Internet radio/... can all be selected.
