Unfortunately, no. The wheel is not removable, but even if it was, the buttons are not the problem - on an interface level the wheel will only "talk" to one type of console per model.
Unfortunately I don't know what the problem is, but my steering wheel does not have the problems on the PS5. I connected it to the front USB port. Maybe have it replaced under warranty.

According to the Thrustmaster website, the T3PA pedals are fully compatible with the T248 and in the pictures they also have the same connector (RJ12).
