Yes, MacOS is supported - BUT: The memory card is extremely shaky, as it is often not mounted after hibernation or restart. Despite the "JetDrive Toolbox" with Power Save switched on. It seems to be a known problem of MacOS vs. memory cards. The card runs - but has to be regularly inserted/removed manually in order to be recognised again.
Just tested: rsync, 11.7GB, 5.5k files - 21.81MB/s, on MBP M3 Pro, filesystem "MacOS Extended (Journaled)". Maybe yours is defective? 🤔
You can also simply encrypt an image file. This can then also be stored on cloud storage or a differently formatted storage medium https://support.apple.com/de-ch/guide/disk-utility/dskutl11888/mac
Could a firmware update with JetDrive Toolbox help? Do other SD cards work on the device? Does it work without encryption? Do you have a third device to check the behaviour? Does the hard drive service on the MacBook where the JetDrive is not working say anything about the JetDrive?
Tap each side briefly with your fingernail and it comes out easily? M2 Macbook Pro...
The card is designed specifically for MacBooks, so it's not certain that it's 100% compatible with the Surface Book 3. Perhaps another Surface Book user could give a better answer? Or search the internet?
I believe it also fits the early 2015 model..., but I'm not 100% sure, as I'm using it for a 2022 MacBook Pro M1 14
No idea. Do not use this device
I can confirm that this is the model: TS1TJDL330 - JetDrive Lite 330 Descriptions are often wrong, as they are usually for several products at the same time. You can refer to the specifications and manufacturer's references instead :)
digitec@digitec.ch How is the community here supposed to know that?
Very fast read-write, enough memory for files (Word, PDF, PPP....) and easy to install. Apple recognises it well as an external drive. When moving files, iMac leaves the original on the laptop (for deleting, move manually to the recycle bin). NOTE: different sizes, depending on laptop model too big-long. Possibly ask by telephone
Yes, it works perfectly
The Transcend JetDrive Lite330 worked for me. I have a MacBook Pro 13
No, but JetDrive Lite 130 would fit. Check your model if it would go (picture 5 for JetDrive Lite 330)
No only fits Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch
hier ist sie: Transcend JetDrive Lite 330 MacBook Pro Retina 13 (256GB)
Unfortunately, we do not have a supplier who offers this memory card. For this reason, we cannot include it in our range,
