Brother Ql-700
I bought this printer because I wanted to print mail labels (mainly parcels, but also letters). Unfortunately, this does not work. This is partly due to the post office, which offers the right Brother label for stamps, but only A6 and A7 for parcels. On the other hand, it is due to my iMac, whose preview app claims, for reasons I do not understand, that the inserted print medium does not match the selected one (not true).
The P-Touch app is great, but you can't import a PDF with it - at least not in a usable way. The barcode and address are extremely pixelated after uploading. The only option is to take a screenshot of the post-PDF and then import it in the P-Touch editor. The result is great, but the diversions is long and tedious. It doesn't work with the stamps either, although the Post website at least generates the right format for them.
Brother support knew no more than "This can happen" and "The P-Touch editor is not suitable for PDF".
Maybe you know more. I'm doing it as described, which is annoying but works in the end.
My rating is based on the overall picture. The printer per se deserves 5 stars.

Very good machine overall, obvious choice if you don't need network connectivity. Well built, compact and elegant, it is rather the software that fails. P-Touch Editor is rather austere to use, especially the navigation on the editing area which is strange. The text toggle options are numerous but you have to find them! The print label function from an excel list works very well and with the speed of the QL700, it will be able to output a hundred labels in no time. If you activate the automatic cut after each label, put a receiver tray, it tends to eject them quite far!

The machine is very easy to use and the application was very easy to understand for me. The only thing I would say is that if you have a computer with usb C connectors, you need to think about an adapter to be able to use it.
