    Love this part!

Super thing at occasions or for on the road. Quickly print out a few photos and hand out to colleagues. Comes always and everywhere well!

    Excellent portable printer

Excellent small portable printer for iPhone or FujiFilm camera. It can be carried everywhere in a small bag with the camera. For example in an ONA Bond street bag I put my X-Pro2 camera (27mm lenses) and the printer.

    Pro

    • Compact and easy to use

I couldn't have done it without YouTube

When I got the printer, I could not connect it to my iPhone (iOS 13). Fujifilm couldn't help me either and said that at some point the problem should be solved.
Thanks to YouTube I managed it:

    Otherwise,
I am very satisfied with the product. The pictures are of good quality for a mobile printer.

    Pro

    • Good picture quality
    • Fast printing

    Contra

    • Expensive pictures
    • Without a YouTube hack, the printer would not have run with iOS.

Funny gag, in which the environment has no joy

A YouTube clip by Zack Alias was my spontaneous reason for buying (https://youtu.be/ejLBsBtnJC...). What he mentioned less: The printer is a disposable product, can not be repaired (says Fujifilm). In the warranty, it is replaced, then you have to cut away the if it is defective.

Why black bordered film has to be more expensive than white? Ask Fujifilm, no answer. Too bad you can't change them depending on the subject, on the other hand Fuji wants to sell films. The pictures have similar proportions, but are a bit smaller than Polaroids. And this one can only print square pictures.

To print from a Fujifilm camera, go to the menu, select "INSTAX DRUCKER DRUCKKT" in the play menu (the translators at Fuji learned German in China, I assume. Doesn't just apply here). The connection is usually established as soon as the printer is turned on and near the camera. By the time you select the next image, find the command again, and reprint, the printer has probably shut down. Power and Reprint button (the latter prints the last image again) look the same, feel the same, and after the first accidentally double-printed image, you then pay attention.

The pictures can be door openers and ice breakers, you have to be able to ignore the waste aspect.

    Pro

    • one can make portraits a great joy
    • I like the square picture format
    • I like the pastel colors
    • I like the Polaroid look of the pictures
    • you can't print faster on the road
    • long battery life

    Contra

    • 10 films (pictures) with a lot of waste
    • few setting possibilities for Fuji cameras
    • films can only be changed empty
    • can not be repaired (exchange in warranty period)
    • no realistic colors
    • standby time short

    Connection with app not possible.

I had problems connecting the printer to my (Android) smartphone right from the start. But it worked somehow the last few times. Now, when I wanted to print something again after a long time, nothing worked at all. No connection.

    Contra

    • App very old-fashioned
    • No USB C
    • Connection via WLAN very cumbersome
