Best smart display currently - clearly.
Excellent product for home control. Couldn't let the 1-star rating stand like that. Ok - there is no brain-dead "news" like the "birthday of the day" or "smart" info like "what is a robot". In return, you can run your Shared Google Photos album on it, which always updates with the latest pictures. I'll leave it open as to which is more "useful".
Okay, the sound is bad. Compared to the old Echo Show, it falls off negatively. But if there is a Play:1 or similar next to it... störts not really. In addition, the Google Assistant is simply better and more useful than Alexa. The home control is excellent. I can even control Sonos players for each room (volume, play/pause, etc.) - and without speaking mind you.
One of the best features - this alone is an Echo Show killer: the Nest Hub is also a Chromecast receiver. Be it Zattoo, Netflix, Plex.... you name it, everything can be controlled just like a Chromecast. Needless to say, the possibilities this creates are outstanding. Sure, it still has room for improvement. News should effectively be displayed a bit more prominently and proactively. If you have the preferences configured accordingly, the playout of the content is actually mostly interesting. I would also like to see a camera for video telephony, for example - but the Nest Hub Max is coming soon.google Nest hub

Absolutely recommendable
Anyone who uses Google Assistant on their smartphone or Google Home speaker will also be satisfied here and feel right at home. Very useful, especially in conjunction with Google Photos, Tune In Radio, YouTube and Philips Hue. Amazon Echo can't hold a candle to Google Assistant in 1000 years 🤓😍

Good alarm clock
Use it as an alarm clock.

All Google Home products have this nice round power adapter. Reminds me a bit of the protruding camera on the iPhones.... Design before function! When you plug the power adapter into a 3-way CH socket, it blocks the other two plugs. Super intelligent! Just like the wobbly iPhone placed on the tabletop...
