Hama Grey filter Vario ND2-400
62 mm, Neutral density filter, 62 mm
In short: disaster.
-no uniform darkening => "blotchy" image
noticeable sharpness decrease
-useless on wide angle, because it is two polarizing filters on top of each other.
-ND value is a matter of luck, the printed scale is meaningless.
-The lens hood can no longer be used, since the filter is a few millimeters wider than the filter thread.
I would not buy this junk in any case. Immediately into the waste glass with it.

Can only be used on the first half (approx. 2-200).
Afterwards, cross-shaped shadows appear on the image.
Move on.

I am not very satisfied with this product because the two panes, which can be moved in relation to each other, shift. This effect leads to images with black shadows at the edges or in the centre, depending on the exposure times.

I am thrilled how evenly this filter covers and that from min. to max. setting. For hobby photographers a good investment.

Unusable above ~ND 100 : there's strong and irregular vignetting appearing on top and bottom of the image.

Depending on the setting/rotation, dark stripes appear on the photo.
