For connecting devices with a USB A port to an existing PC/laptop or a mobile device (tablet/smartphone) with a USB Type C port. Complies with the USB 3.0 / USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard (data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s). Max. power consumption 5V3A. Note: This dongle supports both USB data and charging functions, but does not support USB Type C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video devices. In accordance with the current specifications from USB.org, we have updated the technical data of our USB 3 products. The new labeling for the USB specifications you are already familiar with has been changed to USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 Gen 1) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (formerly USB 3.1 or USB 3.1 Gen 2).
