The maximum temperature of the potting seal is limited to 180 °C. This is a mineral-insulated probe, type K. It features very robust and flexible mineral-insulated thermocouples that are suitable for high-pressure and low-pressure applications and can withstand strong vibrations. The insulated (ungrounded) tip consists of a class 310 stainless steel protective sheath. The connection is made via a 1 m long PTFE-insulated cable. The maximum peak temperature is 1100 °C.
