Product details

Samyang introduces a new VDSLR MK2 series equipped with weather protection, dual-sided labeled focal lengths, a sleek design, and 9 aperture blades. This groundbreaking series of film lenses, which inherits Samyang's incredible video quality, will assist independent filmmakers and low-budget directors in expanding their creative horizons, and it is their first film lens.

The VDSLR MK2 set includes 4 of the most commonly used focal lengths: 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, and 85mm T1.5. The new models not only offer the popular image quality and fast T-stop values of the existing VDSLR series, but they also now feature weather sealing, 9 aperture blades, and the focal lengths are visible on both sides to facilitate professional use. The series is highly versatile and available in 7 camera mounts.

Despite their compact size, the VDSLR MK2 lenses cover full-frame sensors (36x24mm) and are suitable for high-quality video production. This new series inherits the excellent image quality of the previous series: all 4 lenses are equipped with aspherical lens elements to reduce spherical and optical aberration, producing clear and vibrant images. The 50mm model also features an aspherical hybrid element to maintain a compact size without compromising performance.
