Samyang

The Samyang AF 75 mm F1.8 portrait lens for Fujifilm X cameras impresses with its size and lightweight design. The lens weighs only 257 g and has a length of 69.3 mm, making it significantly smaller and lighter than comparable lenses. It is compatible with Fujifilm X cameras.

With a high aperture of F1.8, the lens is ideal for isolating subjects in portraits and for low-light photography. It offers beautiful bokeh, and thanks to the LSTM autofocus, it is faster, more precise, and quieter for both photo and video shooting. This makes it perfect for moving subjects and video recordings. With modern lenses (3x ED and 2x HR special lenses) and a UMC coating, the lens delivers top-notch image quality.

The Samyang lens features a custom switch for AF/MF control and a preset aperture control function for video recording. When shooting videos in AF mode, you can control the depth of field more smoothly and without noise or vibrations, similar to a lens with a "de-click" function for the aperture. This allows for easy aperture control through the lens.

Due to its excellent image quality and compact size, the lens is versatile. Whether for portraits, people photography, travel, or night shots, it delivers outstanding results when used with Fujifilm X cameras. It also performs well in adverse weather conditions: the Samyang weather protection ensures good results even in light rain, dust, or dirt.

Key specifications

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
