Acti 9 iCT contactors from Schneider Electric enable power switching in single-phase and three-phase loads. The TeSys GC series contactors are safe, easy to use, and simple to install. These devices, with their compact dimensions, are suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Features and benefits:

  • Integrated auxiliary contacts for additional switching options
  • Screw connections: IP20 finger-safe terminals with North American and international terminal markings
  • Panel mounting with screws or DIN rail mounting possible
  • Pulse relay function
  • Day/night function
  • Insulation class 2: continuous safety for operators and third parties

The utilization categories AC-7a and AC-7b determine which loads the contactors can switch:

  • AC-7a is intended for lightly inductive loads for household appliances such as mixers and blenders
  • AC-7b is intended for motor loads for household appliances such as fans and central vacuum cleaners

When mounting multiple contactors on a DIN rail, spacers should be used after every second contactor to avoid excessive heat buildup that could exceed the operating temperature. The coils are designed for 100% duty cycle, allowing them to be on 24 hours a day, and heat must be dissipated, hence a spacer is required.
