This digital input module is part of the Modicon X80 series, which includes a range of common input/output and communication modules, power supplies, and module carriers for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This product features 16 input channels powered by 48 V DC (positive). It is a robust product that can be used in harsher environments and in an extended temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures, reducing spare parts inventory as well as maintenance and training costs. It has an external fuse for each group of channels rated at 0.5A and features reverse polarity protection with fast tripping. This product meets the IP20 protection class and offers a mean time between failures (MTBF) of 777,744 hours.
