The positioning module BMXMSP0200 (681-8712) with pulse output requires the use of a 28-pin spring terminal block BMXFTB2820 (681-8703). M340, pulse output - positioning module. This module includes a rectangular pulse output for controlling step or servo systems with a specified number of pulses and a defined cycle time. It can be programmed to generate either a pulse train or a pulse profile consisting of multiple pulse trains. For example, a pulse profile can be used to control a stepper motor or servo motor with an acceleration or deceleration ramp, with pulses for normal operation, or with more complex pulse sequences. The control is implemented similarly to an open-loop control system. No feedback information about the actual position of the module is required.
