The SITOP SEL1200 selectivity module is the optimum addition to all 24 V power supplies for splitting and monitoring the load current on several current branches. Overload and short-circuit in one or more branches are reliably detected. Short-term current peaks, for example, due to high inrush current, are allowed by the electronics; branches with longer overloads are de-energised. This is ensured even on high-impedance lines and with creeping short circuits. The intact feeders are supplied, thus minimising downtimes of the system. The faulty branch is signalled via LEDs on the unit as well as via a group signal contact or diagnostic monitor.
