Siemens flowmeter transmitter. The MAG5000 and MAG6000 transmitters are developed by Siemens for use with Siemens MAG FM series electromagnetic flow sensors. The MAG5000 is designed for common general applications, while users requiring more functionality and greater accuracy can choose the MAG6000. Suitable for use in most fluid control processes where the fluid is electrically conductive, such as water and wastewater, food and beverage, power generation, and chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Max. measurement error ±0.4 % + 1 mm/s (MAG 5000). Max. measurement error ±0.2 % + 1 mm/s (MAG 6000). User-configurable display, self-diagnostics and error logging, HART communication protocol (optional), PC-controllable with SIMATIC PDM software, empty pipe detection (special cable required), IP67/NEMA rated enclosure, backlit display, password protection.
