Actuating elements are supplied, accessories are used as spare parts. The 3SE5 hinge switch from the Sirius series is designed to monitor doors with hinges and flaps. These mechanical position switches provide excellent protection against tampering due to the fixed, positive pivot connection between the switch and the door hinge. They have a standard enclosure according to EN 50047 and EN 50041 and a very small operating angle. Simultaneous disconnection and signaling is additionally provided by the snap-action contacts. This switch is suitable for mechanical monitoring of safety doors or safety flaps, offering protection up to Cat 4 (EN 954-1) and up to SIL 3 (IEC 62061). Pushbutton contacts allow for simple, fast wiring, reducing connection time by approximately 20 to 25%. The actuating head can be rotated in 22.5-degree steps.
